Through while this site is meant for my work (comics, films, written word, ETC.), I’ve decided to add a politics category for political talk. So to save people on my other sites and profiles from more long winded Libertarian leaning opinions.

I still work on my comics by the way, it’s just slow going. I have to wake up at 3 in the morning to go to work. I often can’t get to bed early enough so I feel sleepy in the afternoon and will often take 2 to 4 hour naps. So by the time I wake up I only have enough time to eat dinner, shower, and maybe do some other important stuff before I have to try to go to bed. So it makes the process of writing very slow. But I’ll to upload something to here and deviantART soon regarding a new project.

Magic World Cup webcast.

Watching the Magic World Cup. Now Wizards knows how to webcast an event. Commentators that actually sound like professionals, better looking score board, use of professional level sports graphics, a sports crawl that tells you what else is going on in the event. Over all better looking, and looks like it belongs on ESPN. Unlike Yugioh, their webcast sucked. Didn’t get a chance to watch the matches yesterday, but Wizards will upload the videos in a day or so.
This really makes me want to fix up my decks, even though I probably never get into top level play.
As of this post they’re about to go into semi-finals. With Puerto Rico vs. Poland, and Hungary vs. Chinese Taipe. Not sure who the root for.

A day in and I break my site.

So after a day or so and break my site for the first time. Hopefully the last, though probably won’t. Guess I need to be more careful, it’s not like my old Geocitites site or Hyperboards. Anyway I’m going to be changing the theme to something with more control and customization.

Anyway, Mom was watching an old Disney tape with my one year old niece, and I couldn’t help but notice how a theatrical short from 1947 looks way better then some of the s*** they put on primetime now a days. Back then everything was done by hand, frames shot one by one, there were no shortcuts to take. Now everything is done digitally, and you would think things would look better with the unlimited capability of today’s computers and software. But you still have major animated shows like family guy getting away looking like they were animated by a highschool slacker. There are shows that look real good. Like Young Justice, or the new ThunderCats. They look AWESOME!  All I ask is that people in animation give a damn, especially when even low budget anime upstage us.

Oh well, enough of that rant.

Okay, new site finally up. Still trying figure out wordpress, might change it later. I’ll be uploading an archive of my old geocities site once I convert it over. I’ll probably be using different software for the message board so it might be a while. Central Illinois Duelists will remain at Hyperboards till I get the forum up and running. I’ll have more news on other projects as soon as possible. I’m still looking for an artist for the comic since the guy I originally lined up to draw the comic hasn’t replied back to me in awhile. Anyway that’s all for now.
